Saudi Arabia imposes travel ban on Brazil, Argentina and India

RIYADH, 25 September 2020, (IP):  This step was taken by Saudi Arabia government in the over view of increased number of corona patients. Corona patients are seems to be getting out of control in India.  India has been listed number two among other countries with gradual increase in number of patient’s every day. In the light of these circumstances Saudi Arabia has imposed a travelling ban on India. Saudi government has issued an order in which it has been stated that the passengers who have an official invitation from the government will be exempted from this ban. Besides India, Saudi Arabia has also imposed travel ban on Brazil and Argentina. Government officials also said that no one will be allowed to travel to and from these countries because Corona Virus is spreading fast in both countries. Saudi government does not want any infection from these countries to reach Saudi Arabia because it can cause a lot of problems. It should be noted that the number of Indians in Saudi Arabia is very high. On 18 September Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has suspended Air India Express flights until 2 October for allegedly carrying passengers with a positive certificate of corona virus infection confirmation. PCR test has to be done and should be having clearance certificate of infection.
