Seven produced before court over attack at Israeli firm in UK

LONDON, 14 August 2024 (TON) - Seven people arrested on charges of violent disorder, burglary and other offences appeared in a London court on Tuesday in an attack by protesters of Palestine Action group at a warehouse of Israeli defence firm Elbit premises near Bristol in southwest England on 6 August 2024.

Pro-Palestinian protesters including British Jews and Christians have repeatedly targeted Elbit Systems UK and other defence firms in Britain linked to Israel in the wake genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

Seven people are charged with criminal damage and aggravated burglary. Six of the seven have also been charged with violent disorder.

One of the accused, Samuel Corner, has also been charged with grievous bodily harm for allegedly hitting a police officer with a sledgehammer and causing actual bodily harm.
