LISBON, 6 February 2025, (TON): Shia’s spiritual leader Hazar Imam Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, aged 88 has passed away in Lisbon on 4 February 2025. The world is deeply saddened by the news of his death. He is survived by three sons and a daughter.

His eldest son, Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan V was named the 50th hereditary Imam of the Shia community. Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini’s mother was Sarah Croker Poole, an Indian born of British origin daughter of British Army officer.

Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini married American national Kendra Spears, in 2013, with whom he had two sons. The couple divorced in 2022.
