ISLAMABAD, June 20, 2026 (TON): Two roadside bomb explosions on Saturday killed seven people in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa ,province of Pakistan, according to local authorities. 

Senior police official Yasir Afridi said that five people were killed in the first blast, while two others died in the second explosion. Three people were also wounded and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

Authorities have launched an investigation into the attacks. The group responsible for the bombings has not yet been identified, and no organization has claimed responsibility. 

President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari condemned the attacks and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. He also issued a warning to the internal and external handlers of terrorism, stating that those responsible would be brought to justice.

 Security forces have increased patrols in the affected area as investigations continue.
