Afghanistan Signs Trade Agreements with Russia and Kazakhstan

KABUL, 15 July 2026 (TON): Afghan traders and business representatives from Russia’s Dagestan and Tyumen regions, along with Kazakhstan, signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth 446.62 million Afghanis during a business forum in Kabul, according to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI).

The agreements were finalized during a Business-to-Business (B2B) meeting held on Monday between Afghan investors and a joint trade delegation from Russia and Kazakhstan. The initiative aims to strengthen regional trade cooperation and expand commercial partnerships.

The ACCI said Deputy Head of the Tyumen Chamber of Commerce Eliskovich thanked the chamber for hosting the delegation and expressed confidence that the new agreements would help increase trade and boost exports between Afghanistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
