DHAKA , 22 July 2026 (TON): Singapore and Bangladesh discussed strengthening cooperation in trade, aviation, education, and other key sectors during a meeting between Singapore’s Charge d’Affaires Mitchel Lee and Prime Minister’s Office Adviser Mahdi Amin.

Lee highlighted Singapore’s interest in supporting projects related to ports, logistics, airport digitalisation, government digital services, carbon credit cooperation, and capacity building for public officials. He also noted efforts to conclude a bilateral Free Trade Agreement.

Describing the meeting as productive, Lee said he looks forward to further discussions aimed at deepening cooperation and strengthening relations between the two countries.
