NEW DELHI, 30 July 2026 (TON): The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has started discussions with farmer leader Rakesh Tikait to build a broader alliance involving farmers, students and youth. The outreach took place during a Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) conference in New Delhi.
CJP representatives thanked farm leaders for supporting the students protest against alleged paper leaks and examination fraud. The party said it now aims to expand its movement beyond education issues by working with farmer groups on future campaigns.
The meeting marks CJP's first major political move since ending its 36-day protest at Jantar Mantar. Both sides expressed support for stronger cooperation on issues related to education, agriculture and youth.
