NEW DELHI, 25 July 2026 (TON): India and Tanzania reviewed their bilateral relations during the third Foreign Office Consultations, focusing on trade, investment, defence, digital infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and cultural cooperation.

Officials from both countries agreed to hold upcoming meetings of the Joint Commission Meeting and the Joint Defence Cooperation Committee to expand cooperation in key sectors.

The two sides also discussed regional and global issues and welcomed their close coordination at the United Nations and other multilateral forums. The next round of consultations will be held in India.
