INDIA, 26 FEBRUARY 2026 (TON): The Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, will pay an official visit to India from 27 February to 2 March 2026. Both India and Canadian leaders would review progress on earlier meetings on strategic partnership including India – Canada Strategic Partnership earlier meetings at Kananaskis in June 2025 and at Johannesburg in November 2025.
Canada has focussed Mumbai as future potential hub for business, economy and politics. Canadian main focus would be education,  health. minerals and energy sectors.
Both leaders, Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Carney will also attend the India–Canada CEO Forum.
