PARIS, 14 July 2026 (TON): Ukraine and nine European countries have announced a new coalition aimed at strengthening Europe's defense against ballistic missile threats during a meeting in Paris.
"Our goal is to build a shared ballistic missile defense capability for Europe," the participating nations said in a joint statement. The initiative remains open to additional countries wishing to join.
The announcement comes as European leaders seek closer security cooperation amid ongoing regional tensions and continued concerns over missile attacks linked to the war in Ukraine.
