SANAA, 14 September 2026 (TON): Reports coming from various areas of Western Yemen provided gloomy picture for the Houthis. The supply of arms and ammunition to the Houthis and Iraqi mercenaries by the United States and Iran have been temporarily stopped which is creating difficulties for them to retain the occupied territories and stop UN-backed Government forces from taking over control of Yemen.

Meanwhile, the Force commander Sudan, Ubaid Ullah said in a statement that our three-nation command, might be joined by other countries, are ready to move inside Yemen on 17 September 2026, or when ordered by the command. He hinted that advance parties of their force have already taken position at strategic points inside Yemen.

A Houthi local commander termed withdrawal of Houthi occupation forces from three prime areas as their strategic move, however, he did not mentioned how huge casualties have been caused to Houthis rebels in the area.  Heavy fighting is taking place around Babul Mandus, however, clarity about Houthi’s causalities could not be confirmed. There are reports that Houthis have stated burning military type vehicles before fleeing the area,

A Saudi Arabian General at Ministry of Defence claimed heavy loss of Houthis and reports of fleeing from the area. He ruled out participation by any country as Saudi Royal Forces are strong enough to safeguard their of country single handed.  He also thanked Islamic nations for diplomatically supporting Saudi Arabia and African nations “offering armed volunteers for pitched fighting, if situation arises.” He gave an ultimatum to the Houthis to give up fighting and join mainstream politics in order to contribute peace in the region.
