CAIRO, 30 May 2021, (TON): According to he Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs (MoHRA) “The grand Mufti of Egypt, Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam, has issued a detailed fatwa about peace and security in Afghanistan at the request of the Afghan Government.”
A statement from MoHRA quoted that the grand Mufti as declaring that peace, one of important principles of Islam, was paid less attention in Afghanistan, even the word Islam means peace.
Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam said in his fatwa “there were many rules mentioned in Islam for the protection of humans, a reason Islam has forbidden assaulting others, threatening the health of others and creating fears for them.”
The grand mufti further said that Islam counted the murder of one person as the murder of the whole humanity and it was called even worse than the destruction of the home of God (Masjid al-Haram Mosque). Islam mentioned serious punishment for those who threaten the security of countries, spread anarchy on land and create chaos.
Mufti Allam also quoted some verses from Quran that forbid violations of agreements.
