BRAZIL, 20 November 2020, (TON): The University of Brasilia in Latin America will establish 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Chair' named after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Majib Year through its South Asia Department.
Also, Bangabandhu's written historical book 'Unfinished Memories' will be translated into Brazilian Portuguese by a Brasilia University teacher.
Zulfiqar Rahman, Bangladeshi Ambassador in Brazil, has participated in a meeting with Marcia Abrau Maura, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Brasilia. In this meeting, the Vice-Chancellor has ensured this matter.
The Bangabandhu Chair will aim to study Bangabandhu's struggling life and achievements. It will prioritize the analysis of the undisputed leadership to rebuild Bangladesh later Independent war.
The Bangabandhu Chair will also contribute to guiding Brazilian researchers in the field of research on the socio-economic development of Bangladesh. As a result, Brazilian policymakers will realize the geo-strategic and geopolitical importance of Bangladesh from their study.
Through the translation of the 'Unfinished Memories' of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Brazilian people will know about him explicitly.This initiative will not only be the highlight of Bangabandhu to the Brazilian people but also play a vital role in developing relations between Bangladesh and Brazil.
