New Rules for Chinese Muslims Visiting Saudi Arabia for Hajj

BEJING, 13 October, 2020, (TON): China has released new regulations for Muslims who will visit Saudi Arabia for annual Hajj set forth conditions for Muslims to stipulate solely by the Nations Islamic Association. Pilgrims have to observe legal rules and oppose non secular extremism.

There are about 20 million Muslims in china largely Uyghurs and Hui Muslims. 10,000 Muslims of China carry out Hajj each year. News rules for Hajj Pilgrimage from China issued that pilgrims need to be organized according to the leagal guidelines.  Chinese Islamic Association will approve and allow reorganizing for the Muslims to go to Mecca to perform Hajj.

The new laws issued for Hajj Pilgrimage has a complete of 42 articles. The regulation might be implemented from December 1st and no different organization will organize the trip. Resident of China is supposed to meet fundamental necessities when applying for Hajj.

From last 12 months China faced extreme worldwide criticism over concentration camps and forced labor of Uyghurs Muslims. The concentration camps are the most extreme example of China’s inhumane policies against Muslims However China defends the camps, describing the services as re-education centers and claims that these camps are merely vocational and training centers intended to de-radicalize sections of the Uyghur Muslim population from extremism and separatism.
