Indian Air Force Official Declared Dangerous for the Country

NEW DELHI, 9 October 2020, (TON): The India’s Supreme Court on Thursday rejecting the bail of a former Indian Air Force (IAF) officer, who’s facing trial under the Official Secrets Act, termed him as dangerous for the country.

A three member bench, headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde, comprising Justices A.S. Bopanna and V. Ramasubramanian rejected plea filed by former  Leading Air Craftsmen (LAC), Ranjith K.K against a Delhi High Court’s order.

Ranjith K.K, hailing from village Siyamkandam, Pullikal in Malappuram district, Kerala was serving at Indian Air Force Station Bathinda. KK Ranjith was arrested by Delhi police from Bathinda, due to sharing of classified information to girls at Facebook, “Damini McNaught” and receiving Rs. 30,000 and 50,000 which was  transferred to Ranjith’s account twice for passing the information. A joint inquiry conducted by Commanding Officer Air Force Station Bathinda, Military Intelligence and the New Delhi police found of guilty of spying for neighbouring Pakistani intelligence agency. Ranjith was summarily dismissed from service soon after his arrest.
