India Celebrates 72nd Republic Day today: A graceful event

NEW Delhi, 26 January 2021, (TON): India is celebrating its 72nd Republic Day today on 26 January. The graceful Armed Forces personnel and other paraded on the venue and impressed the viewers. The day commemorate the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950, and the country became a Republic. Although, the Constitution of India was adopted on 26th November 1949 but it was decided that India will formally adopt it on 26th January. There was a colourful programme; a combination of military might and Indian culture. Folk dances and heritage and cultural stages added extra colour to the day.

Meanwhile the protesting farmers took over the famous Red Fort and protested against the farmer's laws. Their protest remained more or less peaceful, except at certain points. In Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmiris observed Black Day and protested against Indian illegal occupation of the State, where plebiscite as ordered by United Nations Security Council is pending. 

Although there was no Chief Guest on the Republic Day today but still the President of India and the Prime Minister recorded messages on the occasion.  Prime Minister tweeted, “All May there be Peace and Prosperity and may we rejoice In the blessings that Our Country Has given us. Happy Republic Day Wishes to All!”. The President of Indian and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the nation on the occasion of Republic Day. Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Wishing all the people of India a Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind!" 

One of the most attractive features of the parade state of art Rafale aircraft of 17 Squadron Indian Air Force (IAF) flying at a speed of 900 kilometers per hour carrying out a Vertical Charlie, Su-30MKIs  aircrafts split outwards to form a ‘Trishul in the Sky’,  Jaguar Deep penetration strike and MiG-29 Air Superiority Fighters zoom.
