NEW DEHLI, 4 April, 2021 (TON): Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on the occasion of Easter on Sunday. 

“Greetings on Easter! On this day, we remember the pious teachings of Jesus Christ. His emphasis on social empowerment inspires millions across the world,” he tweeted.

Easter is celebrated by Christians all over the world in the belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

KATHMANDU, 26 March, 2021, (TON): Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the bodies concerned to utilize the agriculture grants.

Addressing a program to declare self-reliance in livestock products here today, PM Oli argued that such grants made available in the agriculture sector should be utilized for sustainable development of the sector.

Prime Minister Oli said that the government was providing grants at nominal interest rates for modernization and equipment and irrigation. As per the United Nations, Nepal has become self-reliant in some livestock products.

PM Oli declared that Nepal had become self–reliant on egg and meat products of late. Nepal is producing Rs one billion and 600 million worth of eggs, and 255,000 metric tons of meat and fish annually.

However, Nepal needs to improve production by 12 liters of milk for every individual yearly to act naturally dependent on dairy items. PM Oli grumbled that however, the nation was expanding awards in the agro areas, production was not expanding as projected.

COLOMBO, 20 March, 2021, (TON): Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa on Saturday paid profound recognitions for Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman. The meeting Sri Lankan PM showed his regard to Bangabandhu by putting a wreath at his representation anywhere nearby of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi street number 32 toward the beginning of today.

After placing the wreath, Rajapaksa stood there for some time in solemn silence as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the architect of the country’s independence. He also signed the visitor’s book.

“I’m deeply touched and moved by this sacred space so much venerated by the people of Bangladesh and all the peace-loving people the world over,” he wrote in the visitor’s book.

“The tragedy of Bangladesh that took place at this place on August 15, 1975, in many ways symbolizes the courage and strength it infused into the people of Bangladesh to protect and cherish the freedom for which Bangabandhu sacrificed his valued life,” he also wrote. “May this be an eternal tribute to all those who respect life and freedom,” he mentioned.
