Threat announced by Washington proved to be a reality when Iranian nuclear uranium enrichment facility at Natanz and other military targets were hit on 13 June 2025, killing 78 people and injuring more than 370 others. But as usual Pentagon did not accepted the responsibility of the attack instead flashed if Israel behind this heinous crime. The joint US-Israeli aggression needs to be condemned in strongest words. There is no doubt that indirect negotiations were in progress between his Iran and the United States, when the 13 June attack was materialized. The same was also confirmed by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi while talking to Ms Kaja Kallas, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission on telephone on 14 June 2025. After the talks she repeated her stance, “Iran must never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons”.

There can be no doubt that Iranian nuclear programme is for peaceful energy purposes while her missile programme is for self-defense and deterrence. If we recall, the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who was prey of target killing, repeated reiterated that Iran has never sought nuclear weapons, citing a religious decree by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that prohibits such arms. However, the UN's atomic watchdog is pushing Tehran to the wall. Interestingly, on 12 June 2025, International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors have complaint that Iran is not complying with obligations and the watchdog is unable to determine whether Iran’s nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful as per the terms of the 2015 nuclear deal from which the United States illegitimately withdrew and now claims to carryout direct talks for a new deal.

If we recall, on 7 June1981, US-Israel launched airstrikes inside Iraq and destroyed Osirak nuclear reactor near Baghdad, claiming that reactor was being used to develop nuclear weapons. This happened despite the fact that Iraq was signatory of Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) since 1969 and International Atomic Energy Agency was monitoring the facilities. Later despite having no nuclear weapons Iraq leadership and nation was destroyed on suspicion of having weapons of mass destruction “Anthrax”, which even today neither western powers nor UN could find anywhere in Iraq. Should we wash our memories how these terrorist nations destroyed Libya, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, and many African countries as well as made many nations hostage by posing threats or by bringing civil unrest through imposed wars.

It is time that UNO must come forward to condemn to USA and Israel for attacking Iranian nuclear facilities, especially when negotiations were already in progress. Who on the earth is Israel to attack a sovereign nation to compel her to come on terms and sign an agreement, when Israel has not been recognized by many nations? If UN is shy in condemning Israel, the world organization should give a license to Israel to attack any nation of the world if Tel Aviv feel or perceives she is threatened due to other nation’s existence. In a nutshell, UNO must play its due role to stop this state sponsored terrorism and compel all stakeholders to abide by the International Law. We know what is going on… it is plan to wipe out Iranian leadership and replace them from a puppet regime, in a similar manner as genocide of Palestinian is taking place while the orthodox Hamas leadership have been wipeout through target killings and replaced by dummies so called replica-Hamas. We should not allow this to happen in Iran or any other country.
