Nine innocent people were killed and 23 injured in firing in Tirah Valley in last two days. Hospital authorities at Hayatabad Medical Complex and other hospitals in Peshawar confirmed death of seven people and injuries to over a dozen. Earlier three persons were reported missing. Government sources claim that they have been killed by elements of Fitna-al-Khawarij but videos have confirmed that if not all many people were killed in the firing by security forces. Brigadier Usman has assured that an inquiry will be carried out and strict action will be taken against those responsible in Tirah incident.
Over past few months, Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies are showing themselves tough due to extended power granted to them. It is right time to place them at the Eastern border to take revenge of Indian direct attack inside Pakistan killing dozen of innocent Pakistani and destroyed at least five Holy Mosques. There can be no doubt that Pakistan has one of the best Army in the world but in some cases they need to be punished to discourage obedience of unlawful command and killing with authority.
Meanwhile, the Tribal assembled at Loya Jirga and decided not to allow security forces to violate human rights. The Mashran (Elders) send a clear message to security forces that no extra judicial killings will be tolerated and rule of law will be followed. There can be no doubt that criminals are hiding throughout the country but why operations are carried out in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is million dollar questions.
The lives of security forces and the locals are equally important but dubbing anyone as Fitna-al-Khawarij and killing them without judicial orders are unconstitutional. One wonders if Almighty Allah has empowered anyone to send to hell (Jahanam Wasil) or declare others as Shudha. Almighty Allah guides us in Surat-un-Najam Ayat 38 that that no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of the other, so everyone should be ready for compete accountability process on Yom-ud-Din. In Surat e-Nehl Ayat 69 Almighty Allah guides us that Shaheed (Shudha) are Allah’s rewarded ones who obey Almighty Allah and Rasool so we all should be mindful when disobeying Almighty Allah. We must find avenues of peace as Allah has guided us rather than killing each other.
