Breaches in Freedom of Communication and other Rights by Google and Avast

ISLAMABAD, 15 January 2021, (TON): The website of 'The Orient News' was illegal suspended on 7 January 2021 without any intimation or notice. Unfounded negative propaganda was carried out by Google and Avast about 'The Orient News' without any plausible justification. If these bodies were justified in their action why they failed to furnish reasons when repeated reminders were served to the authorities to restore the website. 'The Orient News' has officially notified the Avast to remove objectionable notice about 'The Orient News'. The illegal act of blocking and suspension by these two companies was done after 'The Orient News' published Inside Stories and News analysis about USA and India.

There is no doubt that Google and Avast have enormous contribution in the field of Information Technology and communication but it does not mean that they have right to play with the reputations of others.

Meanwhile, the Patron in Chief of The Orient News said in a statement, "such attempt to disrupt truth from coming into the light will always be challenged and masses would be shared the truth, whether someone likes it or not". It was further said, "The Orient News will continue sharing news analysis, Inside Stories and articles based on whole truth".
