In the latest development, the Orthodox Muslim Palestinians fighting in Gaza announced the establishment of a “Palestinian Government in Exile”. Unlike Ismail Haniyah who surrendered before the Israelis and others, serving their interests along with some anti-Palestinian Muslim factions, the new Government claims to follow a peaceful struggle through the good office of United Nations Organizations and Muslim Ummah. Misleading death tolls and exaggerated events make the situation more complex. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan floated a plan including convening the international peace conference to find a permanent solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians has the support of maximum Member nations of the United Nations.

Speaking without disclosing the location or country, the new Prime Minister of Israel in exile said, “We would soon unfold the selected portions of the plan to establish a justice system in the illegitimate state of Israel and will bring will all the Palestinian refugees back to their lands from other lands to form a broad-based democratic government comprising of Muslim majority, Jews and Christian minority, holding (time-scaled) nationalities in present-day Israel. We support a two-state solution, and its implementation as per the UNO Partition Plan dated 29 November 1947. We are honored by the support Palestinians for Hamas by peace-loving Jews around the world calling for a ceasefire and withdrawal of Israeli forces. We will ensure impartial inquiry through the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court against entities involved in War Crimes and terrorism since the 7th October attack inside Israel. Our aim is to bring a justice system to restore peace in the regions and around the world.”

Meanwhile, the leadership of Hamas in Gaza has confirmed that no Palestinian or the Hamas leadership has any plans to leave Gaza or immigrate to refugee camps elsewhere. Nahal Hasan, a Palestinian of Gaza said, “Our Prophets are buried in Gaza, Palestine and the graves of great forefathers are here why should we leave?” In the latest development, additional US forces and equipment have been moved to Jordan at US Force Headquarters, which Amman denies. An unnamed Jordanian military officer confirmed joint patrolling by Jordanian and foreign forces at the border. He said, “2,500 US troops are part of counter-terrorism force under an agreement. There are also reports of the deployment of anti-aircraft guns positioned at the Jordanian-Syrian border.

Earlier this November, Qatar facilitated the safe-exist of foreigners including Nadia Al Nakla’s Scotish-Christian mother and other foreigners through Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Gaza, Palestine. One wonders what the family of Nadia Al Nakla was doing in Gaza during the Israeli attack on Gaza when even she never lived in Gaza and had schooling at Monifieth, Angus, Scotland.

Meanwhile, Norway and other countries are contacting Palestinian authorities in the West Bank and surrendered Palestinians abroad to give them fair chance to emerge as leaders. A few days back Norway announced an increase in her support to the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Gaza by Norwegian Krone 25 million, which is part of Norwegian Krone 200 million allocated to humanitarian aid to Palestinians since 7 October 2023. The Norwegian People's Aid, The Norwegian Refugee Council, other organizations, and missionary agencies from around the world are set to enter any day to establish missionary schools, hospitals, and other assemblies to transform Palestinians into an open-minded modern nation.

There are a lot of hopes in the leadership of Turkey and Saudi Arabia as well as other nations convene an international peace conference to find a permanent solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Before attempting for peace efforts, Palestinians including Hamas must be taken into confidence. The Palestinians have shown faith in Turkey and Saudi Arabia along with other Muslim neighbours so the United Nations Security Council must replace the existing peacekeeping mission United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFL), United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) Golan and United Nations Truce Supervision Organization, Middle East and grant mandate to the new arrangement or at least a reshuffle. We had a very bad experience by giving UN mandate to US and Western allies in Afghanistan and Iraq, which ruined the economies of both countries and it led to over 1.6 million killings of innocent Afghans, men women, and children alone. It also needs to be ensured that the management and control of Eastern Mediterranean gas reserves must remain in the hands of Palestinians.
