In a latest development, President Donald Trump at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on 23 September 2025, tried to impress upon the people of the world that office of United Nations Organization is against him, whereas, in fact, it is President Trump who is not ready to recognize either the UNO Charter or its Resolutions and Judgments. Interestingly, with an objective to cut funding of UNO and its affiliates, the drama President Trump and his team staged was exposed where first he claimed that when he stepped on the elevator at the UNGA building it stopped working and then again started and then during his speech at UNGA he repeatedly claimed that teleprompter stopped working and he was delivering speech extempore. In is an open secret that security of this building is the responsibility of the UN Department of Safety and Security to man internal security and coordinating but for all large-scale events US external agencies including three US Secret Service and the New York Police Department controls.

If we recall, on 13 July 2024, during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania a drama was staged where it was propagated that a gunman opened fire from a nearby building that hit the upper right ear of President Trump right ear and in reaction he raised a hand to his ear before dropping down on his podium shielded by his Secret Service. Again on 15 September 2024 as President Trump was playing golf in West Palm Beach near residence, US Secret Service agent spotted a rifle barrel in the bushes and fired on the man holding it. The man was suspected as Ryan Routh who fled the scene but was later arrested and today on 24 September 2025, the court declared guilty of all charges, including the attempted assassination. The 7 October 2023, attack on Israel was a drama staged to put all the blame on Hamas and orthodox Muslims which it was the handiwork of Intelligence agencies.

Coming back to the President Donald Trump speech at UNGA on 23 September 2025, he urged Gaza war to end immediately but ironically he was the same person who dictatorily vetoed a UN resolution demanding an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, following a vote in the Security Council on 18^th September 2025. US representative Morgan Ortagus stated that Washington opposed the resolution as it fails to condemn Hamas and recognize Israel’s right to defend itself. On the contrary, we all know 7 October 2023, Israel Defence Forces and other border elements fled and did not show any resistance that allowed mass terrorism and alleged abductions as claimed by Israelis. Hamas from Gaza condemned killings and refuted the Israeli allegations but certain former Hamas elements, who after their arrests in Israel defected, accepted Israel claims if Hamas had carried out the attack. Hamas leadership not only rejected any role in 7^th October terrorism but also even today rejects any such claim despite some elements posing themselves as Hamas handed over some hostages to International Red Cross officials in February 2025.

The fact cannot be denied that Hamas never took responsibility of 7 October attack on Israel but many Muslim and Western countries for their self-interest blamed Hamas to remove them from power in Gaza. If we recall, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian spoke to the UNGA on 26 October 2023, spoke on the behalf of Hamas which Tehran had no right rather it was indirect enmity with Hamas and said, “The recent action of the Palestinian nation as well as the action of the liberation organization of Hamas against the occupiers, according to applicable rules of international law, is completely legitimate and is their inherent right, and attributing any other title to it is absolutely illegal and unacceptable… According to our negotiations, Hamas is ready to release civilian prisoners. At the same time, the world should support the release of 6,000 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.” He also added that Hamas have voiced readiness to release the non-military prisoners and Iran and Qatar are ready to play their part in endeavor.

US President Donald Trump has invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on 29 September 2025, to celebrate joint victory of US-Israel-Qatar and Egypt and others as well as announce end of war in Gaza. Before doing that President Trump must reconsider that Hamas has never attacked Israel since takeover in 2007 but their struggle for Independent Palestine and defence of Gaza is taken as if they are terrorist. No doubt, despite all US-Israel and allied nations efforts Israel could neither become occupying power nor holds control over Gaza, hence any ceasefire would require proper negotiations with Hamas authorities till the time they do not hand over the control of Gaza to Palestinian Authority as per “The New York Declaration on Palestine” of 12 September 2025. Regarding the innocent hostages, about whom Israel is not certain about their number as sometimes claims to be 20 and other times 48, Hamas has not abducted them and the negotiators must be inquired about full identities of abductors so that world know who was behind; the defectors and agencies or Hamas of Gaza. With many thanks to all those who recognized Independent Palestine and put pressure on those who matter, it is high time that Hamas should be given a chance to adopt the path of democracy by participating in mainstream politics in Independent Palestine.
