WASHINGTON, 15 August 2024 (TON) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday and discussed the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal.

Meanwhile, Hamas has refused to part in a new round of Gaza ceasefire talks to be held on Thursday in Doha, Qatar, due to a non-serious attitude and continuous genocide of Palestinians.

The World Court has condemned Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza and the creation of a hunger crisis. The International Criminal Court (ICC) has also issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

There are hopes that former US President Donald Trump might prove successful in reaching a permanent solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and end to Israeli genocide.
