Political Meddling over COVID-19 vaccine by US AND Russia

MOSCOW, 25 September, 2020, (TON): Russia has called on the United States to work for the prevention of the corona virus in its country, instead of campaigning against the Russian vaccine. The Russian embassy in the United States issued a statement on Twitter on Thursday. According to the statement, Russia has said that the president has proposed a virtual conference to increase cooperation between countries interested in developing the COVID-19 vaccine. The United States should not oppose Putin’s proposal rather, they must work to save the lives of their citizens by strengthening the fight against Corona.

US State department spokesman Morgan Ortagus said on Twitter: Vladimir Putin has claimed at the 7th session of the UN General Assembly that the Russian vaccine Sputnik V is completely reliable, safe and effective. Russia has recognized the vaccine without registering its third phase trial.
