PARIS, 29 October 2020, (TON): The anger is growing across the Muslim world against French president Emmanuel Macron due to his direct attack on Islam and the prophet Muhammad Alhe Salam (Sal Allah Ho Alhe Wasalam). The Muslims unanimously gave calls for boycotts of the French products. The French government has taken the calls as security warnings for French citizens in Muslim- majority countries, however, there is not even a single incident reported so far.

Meanwhile, French government has imposed new restrictions concerning the second wave of Covid-19 in France. According to French government officials, the new lockdown would be implemented from midnight Thursday 29th October.

In a televised address to the nation from the Élysée Palace French president Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday evening imposed new measures for national lockdown which allows Schools and essential shops to remain open but bars, restaurants, cafés and other public places will be closed. Universities will also be closed. Everyone will need to carry justification forms “attestations de déplacement when they leave the house.  Travel between regions in France will no longer be allowed, except for those travelling back home from holiday this weekend.

Analysts  view that a joint strategy has been chalked out to handle Muslims' protests and  control second wave of Covid-19.
