Maldives: Three robbers broke into the RDC offices, detained for 10 days

MALE, 28 April, 2021 (TON): Three people have been arrested over the robberies of the Road Development Corporation (RDC) offices. 

After breaking into the RDC offices in Male’ City, more than MVR 100,000 have been stolen.

The cases were reported to police on 17 April. 

Police said that three people were arrested in relation to the RDC robberies on 25 April 25, under a court order.

“Those arrested are a 25 year old male, 31-year old male and a 33-year old male,” said Police. 

However, when the detainees were presented before the court, the three were remanded to custody for a period of ten days.
