KATHMANDU, 30 May 2021, (TON): Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said the outstanding issues relating to the border dispute would India will be resolved through diplomatic channels on the basis of historical accords, maps and factual documents.
In a televised address to the nation,Prime Minister Ili said underlined that Nepal’s international relations will be based on mutual benefit and honour to each other. He urged all political parties to form an all-party government and hold fresh elections.
He said, “Nepal’s international relations will be based on mutual benefit and honour to each other and collaboration will be sought with friendly countries on the basis of equality, justice and understanding.”
He said the outstanding issues relating to border issues with India would be resolved through diplomatic channels on the basis of historical accords, maps and factual documents. India-Nepal ties came under strain after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated an 80-km-long strategically crucial road connecting the Lipulekh pass with Dharchula on May 8 last year.
