Jordan's King Abdullah appoints Bisher Al Khasawneh as

AMMAN, 8 October 2020, (TON): Jordan's King Abdullah on Wednesday appointed Bisher Al Khasawneh as the country's new Prime Minister.

King Abdullah dissolved parliament in a constitutional requirement on 27 September at the end of its four-year term. Accordingly, Prime Minister Omar Al Razzaz resigned.

King Abdullah issued letter of appointment to Bisher Al Khasawneh, who also remained as adviser and was involved as peace negotiator with Israel.
