American taxpayers across the US are at the cross road to decide at which level they should resist Washington’s open violation of Federal Laws. The Intelligence community has misguided President Donald Trump if he is above the law. Americans are quite clear that President Trump broke the Posse Comitatus Act that bars the use of the military in civilian law enforcement, except in certain exceptions.

No doubt some of President Trump’s past actions lead to make America Great but this does not mean that violation of Federal law should go unchecked. We have 2nd September 2025, verdict of US District Judge Charles Breyer who pronounced that the Trump administration broke federal law by sending National Guard troops to Los Angeles in June in response to protests over immigration raids and also passed orders for the administration to refrain from using them to execute laws. Hence, the President Trump should know well that he setting a precedent that he and his administration has no respect for the American constitution.

There should be no mistake that local policing and law and order enforcement are separate from military operations. Here there is no requirement of military automatic assault rifles, grenade launchers, improvised explosive devices, helicopter gunships and deadly drones to suppress unarmed civilians. We cannot deny the fact that there is no insurgency or guerrilla warfare-taking place where military or military tactics would be required.

Today many nations still consider America as beacon of democracy and human rights but if this is the real face of America one feel concerned President Trump attempt of military occupation of Chicago to target protesters especially Jewish activists supporting Palestinian solidarity movement is a dangerous move. If the action is not reversed there is a need to review if Statue of Liberty allowed should be displaced at New York or returned to France. The UNO bodies must monitor the breach of human rights and state sponsored coercive tactics in the US to restore democratic best practices.
